Biography
The lovely Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981. While still a child she moved with her family to Biloxi in Mississippi. Later her family moved back to sunny California, followed by a move to Del Rio, Texas and then finally settled in Southern California when Jessica was nine.

Jessica Alba's break through came with the Sci-Fi TV hit, "Dark Angel" created and produced by oscar-winning director James Cameron. The show has become a big hit its first season, but tanked in its second season, leaving Jessica Alba and her then-fiancé Michael Weatherly unemployed.

Jessica's work in the TV series Flipper from 1995 - 97 also won her some fans. She's big on the big screen too in the flicks Never Been Kissed, with Drew Barrymore and Idle Hands, with Seth Green, Venus Rising, 1995, Paranoid, 2000 and The Sleeping Dictionary, 2002. She also acted in Beverly Hills 90210 and Brooklyn South for a couple of episodes. She has started training in dance and Tae Bo two months prior to the start of scheduled filming on her new film, Honey 2003.

In her spare time, Alba enjoys activities she learned for several of her acting roles such as scuba-diving, horseback-riding, bicycling and motorcycling.

She appeared in 'Teen Magazine' in 1995 and various European magazines in the past several years. More importantly, she was just featured in the February, 1999, issue of Vanity Fair.

Jessica had the looks to make us believe she was a genetically-enhanced woman in the sci-fi hit "Dark Angel", and has the body to make any guy want to go see a chick flick like "Honey". Recently we saw this gorgeous beauty in movies like "Into the Blue", "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four".

Murder, revenge, lust and rampage take over 'Sin City' sequel
By Piya Sinha-Roy LOS ANGELES - Femme fatales and brutish men form a complex web in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," as old and new faces from Frank Miller's noir graphic novels are brought to life in film. The film, distributed by Weinstein Co, sees the return of characters such as the warrior Marv (Mickey Rourke), private investigator Dwight McCarthy (Josh Brolin) and exotic dancer Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba), as they battle both their mental and physical demons in the corrupt, hedonistic Sin City. Brolin plays a prequel version Dwight before the character undergoes major facial reconstruction, as seen in Clive Owen's portrayal in the first film.
